Casa Ligaya Resort
Casa Ligaya Resort, located in Calamba, Laguna, has a private pool for rent (actually, one adult pool and one kiddie pool). We rented this resort last Holy Week (April 2010) as part of our family's yearly tradition of holding our reunion on Black Saturday.
As can be seen on the photo above, the pools were well-shaded so there was minimal risk of sunburn. Two mini-roofs were installed on the opposite edges of the pool so one can dip in the hot spring pool comfortably, even during noon and in the early afternoon.
Aside from the pool, guests can use two air-conditioned rooms and a billiard table (both located at the second level), a refrigerator, kitchen, tables and chairs, and a videoke. Although the rent was a bit higher at PhP 7000/day compared to other resorts (PhP 6000/day), it was worth it considering the large size of the pool and other well-maintained and clean amenities.
