Laguna Travel Guide - Laiya, Batangas - Blue Coral Beach Resort

Laiya, Batangas - Blue Coral Beach Resort

Blue Coral Beach Resort

Blue Coral Beach Resort, Laiya, Batangas

When we want a quick getaway, the white beach of Laiya, Batangas is our destination of choice. Laiya, Batangas has become our “happy place” due to its calming environs and close proximity to Laguna. We already stayed several times at Coco Grove Beach Resort so we wanted to try a different one. We chose Blue Coral Beach Resort because I found out that aside from a great beachfront, it has a big swimming pool for adults and a kiddie pool with playground, perfect for families.

Blue Coral Resort’s beach has coarse sand, and it’s not really white but more like grayish white. But that was fine with us because the seawater in Blue Coral’s beachfront was very clean and clear and we were able to see from the surface the small fishes swimming around. It was like taking a dip in an outdoor aquarium.

We stayed overnight at the beachside villa. We were able to sleep comfortably in its 2 queen-sized beds plus 1 extra mattress. The room was  fully air-conditioned and it has a T.V., minibar, living room and bathroom with shower. The beachside villa costs PhP 5800 per night during peak season.

As the norm in most Laiya beach resorts, we were required to avail of the meal package that was charged separately from the room accommodation. The PhP 1250 overnight meal package per person included dinner, breakfast and lunch.  The meals were served buffet style but for about PhP 400 per meal, I think it was overpriced. The dishes were not really delicious either. When we go back to Laiya, I would want to stay in a resort where we would not be required to avail of a food package such as Kabayan Beach Resort and Taramindu Beach Garden Inn Resort. Below is a photo of the De Luxe Room Accommodations. This is also where the dining area is located.

The De Luxe room is good for 4-6 persons and similar to the beachside villa, also costs PhP 5800 per night during peak season. The room has 2 double-sized beds plus 2 extra mattresses, air-conditioning, T.V., minibar, and 1 bathroom with shower. For a complete list of resort rates, visit Blue Coral's website:
