We wanted to have a quick getaway just within the Laguna area so I did a research (on Google of course!) on the possible places where we can spend the long weekend. I came across Seda Hotel Nuvali located in Santa Rosa, Laguna and in the articles I have read, it seemed like the perfect place for a staycation. We became intrigued by this new hotel in the heart of Nuvali eco-city so we immediately booked a room for two nights through its website’s online booking service.

The booking process was fast and easy - we just had to select the type of room that we wanted and gave some details. Anyway, we initially just wanted a Deluxe Room (with standard amenities only) but there was none available so we opted for the Club Room. By availing of the Club Room, we gained access to the Club Lounge with its various amenities (more on this later).
Because it was only recently opened (last March 2014), everything about Seda Hotel Nuvali looked and felt brand new. Living up to its name – seda is a Filipino word which means silk – everything in the hotel was smooth as silk. We appreciated all of the amenities that the hotel provided and we really enjoyed our stay here. Here are the things that we love about Seda Hotel Nuvali:
King-sized bed at the Club Room
The Club Room
The king-sized bed was spacious enough to accommodate all three of us (2 adults, 1 child) comfortably. There was a mini-bar, coffee making facilities, a huge writing desk, 40-inch LED TV, and toiletries (the shampoo and body wash smelled so good). Thankfully, there was available free internet connection inside the room.

The Game Room
Our son totally enjoyed his stay at Seda Hotel because of the Game Room. There were computer units with internet access, Video game consoles (X-Box, Nintendo Wii, Play Sation), and our favorite – the air hockey game.

The Lakeside Swimming Pool
Completing the resort ambiance of Seda Hotel is the infinity pool. We didn’t have time to swim during the day because of some work to be done, but we found the chance to swim at night.

The water was cold but we were able to adjust to the cold temperature. It was pleasant to swim at night because only a few people were in the pool, so we were able to do some serious laps.

Breakfast Buffet at Misto Restaurant
The hotel accommodation comes with free buffet breakfast for two persons at Seda Hotel’s very own Misto Restaurant. There was so much variety in the dishes being offered so we ended up very full and satisfied with our breakfast.
Inside Misto Restaurant
On our second day at the hotel, we had our breakfast inside the restaurant. I had pasta and fried rice (carb overload!), sausages, scrambled eggs, potato wedges, salad, and brewed coffee.

On our third day at the hotel, we ate our breakfast outside near the swimming pool area because the restaurant was at full capacity. But it was OK because we were able to enjoy the early morning sunlight and fresh breeze while having our meal.

The Club Lounge
Since we booked the Club Room, we gained access to the Club Lounge.
Inside the Club Lounge, there was a reading nook with various reading materials, IMac station, work tables, and wide-screen LED TV.
We also enjoyed having afternoon tea and cocktails, coffee, and non-alcoholic drinks here.
Not to mention, the view was perfect! We were totally “inspired” doing some work in the Club Lounge because of the natural landscape surrounding the hotel, as well as the amazing man-made lake just beside it.

We will definitely go back to Seda Hotel so we can pamper ourselves and unwind even just for a while. If you want to try out its luxurious amenities too, you may contact Seda Hotel Nuvali at:
