Southwinds Resort
Southwinds Resort is a new resort in Pansol, Calamba City, Laguna, located just across the Sun City Resort. It started its operations last summer of 2010. We wanted to check out its facilities so we went there for a day swim (Sunday).

There are four swimming pools in the resort that range in depth from 3 feet to 5 feet. On the day we came there, the 4-feet deep pool, 5-feet pool and kiddie pool/water playground were available for use but the 3-feet pool had no water in it. The water in the pools was warm - neither too hot nor too cold. (Note that even though we went to the resort on a weekend, the resort/swimming pool was not crowded with people. Maybe because it's the rainy season or because the resort is still quite new so not many people are aware of its existence.)

Southwinds Resort entrance fee is affordable at PhP 78 for adults and PhP 68 for kids (with height of 4 feet and below). Guests are required to avail of a table upon entrance to the resort. The price of the table depends on the number of guests in a group. There are also gazebos for large groups.

Guests may bring their own food and beverages but there is corkage fee for beer or hard drinks. There is a grilling area or facility for guests who want to grill their foods. Guests may also use the videoke machine for their singing pleasure.
