Villa Gregoria Terrace Resort is a cold spring resort located in Nagcarlan, Laguna. Villa Gregoria was skillfully built at the base of Mt. Banahaw, which is the source of the cool spring waters of the resort's swimming pools.
Upon entrance to the resort, you will be greeted by the statue of Ana Kalang with plenty of lanzones harvest. On the right side of the statue, the resort rooms are located. We stayed overnight at Room #10 on the second floor of the building.
This room can accommodate up to 6 persons. The room rate was affordable at PhP 1900 per night but take note that check-in time is 4:00 PM while check-out time is 12:00 NN. There are other rooms/cottages that can accommodate smaller groups of 4 persons or larger groups of up to 12 persons. Room rates range from PhP 1300 to PhP 3200, depending on your desired rooms. If you only want to stay here for a day swim, entrance fees are very affordable at PhP 70 for kids and PhP 80 for adults. The open cottage costs PhP 500.
There are four public pools at Villa Gregoria Resort. Pictured above is the resort's main swimming pool, the mini-olympic pool with a depth of 3 1/2 feet up to 6 feet.
A smaller adult pool has a depth of 4 feet up to 5 1/2 feet.

Other resort amenities include videoke (PhP 5 per song), billiards (PhP 70 per hour), and grilling facilities. For day swim or staying overnight, you may bring your own food to the resort. I strongly advise you to do so because the canteen inside Villa Gegoria is open during summer time only and there are no restaurants near the resort. In our case, we brought our own dinner and snacks to the resort and for breakfast the next day, we went to Nagcarlan public market where there are plenty of food vendors. For lunch that day (after check out), we went to nearby Liliw town where there are many restaurants and eateries.
Villa Gregoria Terrace Resort was awarded by the Laguna Provincial Government as the "Cleanest and Best Landscaped Resort" in Laguna in 2006. I can certainly attest to that as I personally witnessed how the resort staff consisitently cleaned the resort's swimming pools, facilities, and environs. The only negative thing I can say about the resort is the proliferation of black ants even inside the resort rooms. When we got back home, we were surprised to find out that our leftover snacks became ant-infested so in effect, we also carried the black ants to our house.
Villa Gregoria Resort also won as the "Best Resort in Laguna" in 2007 and was given the "Hall of Fame" award in 2009. I can really say that until now the resort has maintained its reputation as one of the best resorts in Laguna. Definitely, we will go back to Villa Gregoria to enjoy its clean and refreshing pools and its beautiful gardens and surroundings.
